Trenchless Manhole Rehabilitation
USA Pipe Repair installs a variety of trenchless manhole rehabilitation products to help rehabilitate existing manholes or even coat new manholes prior to installation. We use the same techniques to rehab wet wells, catch basins and underground vaults as well.
All of our staff has undergone confined space training certification and we have the appropriate equipment allowing us to safely inspect and rehab existing underground structures. We have the ability to hand trowel products or spray on new coatings to engineers desired thickness.
We use many certified products for individual problems such as Calcium Aluminate enriched mortars to help resist the Hydrogen Sulfide fumes from Sewer gas or even Fiber reinforced mortars to help prevent cracking when filling voids in existing structures.
We also hand apply or spray 100% epoxy coatings that are the only in the US approved by the US Navy. We also have solutions for the chimney areas of existing structures from coatings that have an elasticity of over 400% to internal joint seals that will also allow movement with the above ground payload. Common Problems With Manholes
Cracks in manholes can be caused by shifting soil, infiltration through mortar, and breaks in joints. Small cracks can evolve into large problems and the source of a lot of groundwater infiltration. With our proven epoxy coating system, we are able to fully cover damp areas with an epoxy finish. Cracks will be covered by a strong ceramic-like exterior which will also increase the strength of the interior walls.
Hydrogen sulfide, corrosion, and other harmful chemicals can cause the deterioration of manhole walls. With rapid deterioration throughout the interior of a manhole, it is possible to see consistent breaks and steady groundwater infiltration. Our system can re solidify the interior of a manhole while also increasing its life expectancy.
Not only can epoxy manhole coating be used to rehabilitate an existing manhole, but it can also be used preventatively. Coating will protect a new manhole with the same effect as an existing manhole. Many find it beneficial to be prepared and reinforce the structure of the manhole before repair is needed.
Manhole Rehabilitation and Repair
Manhole rehabilitation has never been easier. Products, services, and equipment used by USA Pipe Repair makes manhole rehabilitation a breeze. We can also use these products, services, and equipment to rehabilitate wet wells, catch basins, and underground vaults.
All staff employed by USA Pipe Repair has undergone extensive confined-space training certification and have the appropriate equipment, allowing us to safely inspect and rehabilitate existing underground structures. We use primarily calcium aluminate enriched mortars to help resist the effects of hydrogen sulfide fumes from sewer gas, or fiber-reinforced mortars to help prevent cracking when filling voids or holes in existing structures.
We can both hand apply or spray 100% epoxy coatings, which are approved by the US Navy. We have solutions and equipment for chimney areas of existing structures, with coatings that have an elasticity of over 400% to internal joint seals that will also allow movement from the aboveground payload.
Here at USA Pipe Repair, we understand what kinds of problems arise with manholes, like cracks due to shifting soil, infiltration through mortar, and breaks in joints. That’s why we offer a variety of solutions for these problems.
