Rain Drain Leak on Boulevard in Richmond VA

On site in Richmond Va. USA Pipe Repair was informed of a tremendous amount of water infiltration in a basement living room/ entertainment area. We were shown a video inspection of the point of separation in the drain line. We decided to use a three inch flex liner due to the fact that the pipe transitioned to four inch from three inch approximately one foot into the drain line. The line went in almost flawless but after the liner was blown in we were not fully satisfied with the fact that the rain drain almost rusted completely out. We decided to go ahead and dig under the side walk and cut out the drain from underneath and inserted a new drain with no sign of repair. This left the area in better shape and guaranteed that the line will never fail again .The home owner will not have to replace or tamper with the pipe for at least another fifty years. The job become larger than expected but the customer was not charged any extra and the site was left with no sign of any work being completed. We also had a contractor come in to repair the water damage caused by the leaking pipe in the basement. The basement was repainted and is dry as a bone, even with all the tyrannical down poor’s lately.
