Renewing Old Sewer Systems

Professional trenchless pipe lining is the best way to restore pipes. It achieves this without major excavations and disruptions. These features make it the preferred method for local businesses.

In most cases, sewer pipes are still renewable by using cured-in-place pipe or CIPP pipe lining. It works great as long as most of the pipes’ structure is still intact. It can repair or replace the pipe while keeping its surroundings and surfaces intact. In properties such as buildings, this is a major advantage.

New Location, Old Sewer System

In 2016, a packing company called us to have their sewer system restored. In their situation, they relocated their business to a renovated abandoned office building. Its old sewer system needed a lot of work.

Before we could do extensive sewer pipe lining, we used hydro jetting to clear out the sewer lines. They were already clogged with so much scale, concrete-like fibers, grease, and debris. Upon inspection, we also found cracks, tree root intrusion, and separated sections. Once done with the preliminary preparations, we went to work.

To restore the pipes, we accessed them from outside the building. One of the access points was under it, and one led to the city connection. We replaced these lines without major excavations or disruptions.

Next, we took care of the restroom pipes and cleanouts with pull-in-place pipe liners. We skipped over the sink connections as they didn’t need extra work. The result was a clean replacement of three hundred feet of pipe. Three feet of pipe didn’t need replacement. We left the establishment with a full working new sewer system as they started on their new location.

USA Pipe Repair restores sewer systems with minimal disruption and no major excavations. These real-life case studies are proof of our extensive experience in the industry. Call us today.
